New Delhi: India-A have announced separate squads for their upcoming tour of England, Anushka Sharma will lead the T20 team and Harleen Deol will captain the ODI side. The tour will feature three T20Is from June 20 and three ODIs from July 1.Anushka Sharma, who recently made her international debut during India’s tour of South Africa, has soon taken over the responsibility of leading the T20 league. Vrinda Dinesh has been appointed as the vice-captain of the T20 squad.Meanwhile, Harleen Deol, who was not included in India’s Women’s T20 World Cup squad, will lead the ODI team in England. Pratika Rawal has been appointed as the vice-captain for the ODI series.The selectors have awarded several young and emerging players places in the India-A setup. G Kamalini and Vaishnavi Sharma, both of whom have recently featured for the senior Indian team, have been included in both the squads.Jantimani Kalita got his first India-A call-up in both formats, while Tanisha Singh and Puruja Worlikar are among the fresh faces included in the ODI and T20 squads respectively.
