Britney Spears recently made headlines after it was revealed that the famous singer is facing official DUI charges in California. Now, according to the latest updates, the singer is finally out of her rehab and is looking forward to getting better.

According to a recent Page Six report, a day after it was announced that she was charged with driving under the influence and is awaiting trial, Spears has left rehab after completing her stint. After his release, the singer, according to the report, feels positive about his time and is optimistic about the days ahead after his rehab period.A statement from the report said: “He is healthy and happy and is feeling very positive and excited to start again. The rehabilitation was a great opportunity to base himself.” Although the ‘Toxic’ singer will not enter a rehab facility, he will receive counseling and other necessary support remotely. Spears checked herself into a rehab program earlier last month, on April 12.As for why she entered the facility, another statement in the report said: “This is not about one substance in particular, it has a dual purpose… to put Britney’s mental health first and take some time to focus on the things that are important to her.” Additionally, according to the report, he has stayed away from alcohol since his arrest and is making a major “lifestyle change” in his life.

Earlier this year, in March, the 44-year-old singer was pulled over and stopped by authorities while driving in California. The police stopped his car for driving “erratically” near the house. He was booked into the Ventura County Jail on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. According to the latest report, some substances were also found in Spears’ car; however, not many details were shared on the matter.
