JEE Advanced Application Process 2026: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will close the registration window for advanced exams. Eligible candidates who have qualified the JEE Main exam must complete the application process on the official website before the last date. The exam will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. The application process started on April 23 at 10 am. This exam is scheduled to be held on 17 May 2026.Candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee to complete the registration. The fee is Rs 3,200 for general category candidates and Rs 1,600 for women, SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The last date to pay the fee is May 4.Candidates must have been born on or after 1st October 2001. Age relaxation of five years is applicable for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. A maximum of two attempts are allowed in two consecutive years.Applicants must appear for the first time in 12th standard or equivalent examination in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates already admitted to any IIT under the programs listed in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority Business Rules 2025 are not eligible.
Exam and Admit Card Details
JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted on May 17 as a computer-based test. The examination will consist of two compulsory papers, each covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each paper will be of three hours duration. PwD candidates will be given four hours of compensatory time.The admit card will be released on May 11 at 5 PM. Candidates will be able to download it by 2:30 PM on May 17. The admit card will contain details like name, roll number, photograph, date of birth, category and signature.
