Love Island couple Molly Smith and Tom Clare’s wedding plans have been the talk of the town lately. The two have been engaged since September last year and have been sharing insights into their wedding preparations with fans via social media and the ‘Newlyweds’ podcast. In a recent interview, the loved-up couple opened up about the more intimate details of their lives and how they are moving forward with the much-anticipated ceremony.

Speaking to The Mirror, the ‘Love Island’ alums opened up about what they have in store for this year’s wedding. They both explained what they felt and how they continue.While discussing the matter, they both revealed that they are aiming for a destination wedding; however, in the beginning, they were mixed between France and Spain as their main location. Molly added when talking about the location: “We’ve been going for a while, but I guess you don’t know until you see the premises because you feel better.” Tom added that visiting specific locations ultimately helped them close the deal. He shared that: “We ended up deciding on Spain. We’re so excited, I think we got a different vibe when we went to Spain. We were both like that right away, definitely.”

Apart from the exotic and beautiful location, he also shared that the couple is opting for the traditional. However, there is a twist. Molly and Tom revealed in the interview that they are going with a fairly traditional setup for their wedding, adding their own touch and making sure to do it the right way. “We keep it pretty traditional, but we don’t do all the traditions, like throwing the bouquet. We’re pretty relaxed,” Molly added.

The two met and starred in ‘Love Island: All Stars’ in 2024, and have been together ever since. They became a fan favorite on the show and even ended up winning the entire season! The couple has decided to get married towards the end of August this year.
