About the alleged smear campaign

According to the report, Freedman was not only Wilson’s counsel at the time, due to his involvement in the “It Ends With Us” legal saga.

Ghost’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, who also represented Johnny Depp in his legal battle against Amber Heard, said the evidence contradicts Wilson’s involvement in the alleged smear websites.“Rebel Wilson has repeatedly denied any involvement in the creation of the smear websites, not only on television, but in his legal affidavit,” Vasquez said in a statement. “We have long suspected that he was not only a contributor to malicious sites, but a driver of them.”
