Brooks Nader is working on a ‘Baywatch’ reboot
One of the most iconic parts of the original ‘Baywatch’ series was the slow movement of the lifeguards along the coast. This move has been known and loved by fans for years. This time, the new actor is also taking the move. While speaking with PEOPLE recently at a public event, Brooks Nader opened up about his experience filming for the show.She revealed how she has embraced her character, Selene, on the show and also opened up about the slow motion sequence that is guaranteed to be part of the new reboot. The 29-year-old joked about the same and commented that he is fully committed to it. He mentioned, “I only run in slow motion. I don’t run in normal motion anymore. That’s my new identity, slow motion.”
Brooks Nader says he has been preparing for this role for years
When asked how he felt filming the reboot of an iconic and classic series, Nader couldn’t help but gush. He explained that he had been a big fan of the show since he was a child, and he was born to play the role. He added, “I’ve been doing this since I was two years old. I’m ready for this. “I got this. I’ve been watching videos of Pam and Carmen Electra.” I’m ready for that.”He also explained how excited and amazed he was that the entire cast was working for such a big name and that everyone’s energy was matched on set. The reboot will introduce a whole new set of faces, along with some of the OG cast. Many of the people who will be included in the ‘Baywatch’ reboot include:Stephen Amell, Hassie Harrison, Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, Shay Mitchell, Thaddeus LaGrone, Livvy Dunne, Luke Eisner, Nadia Gray, Charlie McElveen, Ashley Moore and Kylar Miranda. David Chokachi, who was part of the original gang and played the role of Cody Madison, will return to the series in the new reboot. Erika Elenia, who played Shauna MacClain in the original series, will also reprise her role in this series.
