CISCE ICSE, ISC Result 2026: The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations has announced ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results, marking an important educational milestone for over 3.6 lakh candidates. The results were declared at 11:00 am and made available through official websites, DigiLocker, and the CAREERS portal for schools.A total of 258,721 candidates appeared for the ICSE examination in 2,957 schools, while 103,316 candidates from 1,553 schools appeared for the ISC examination. The data reflects the participation of institutions across India and abroad, demonstrating the continued reach of the CISCE examination system.The overall pass ratio is above 99%.The results show a consistently high pass percentage in both the exams. The ISC exam recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.13%. Girls scored 99.48% while boys scored 98.81%. In the ICSE exam, the overall pass percentage was 99.18%, 99.46% for girls and 98.93% for boys.The data confirms that girls have outperformed boys in both examinations with a slight difference in overall performance level. The data indicate stable results at both educational levels.Participation in schools and gender distribution54,118 boys and 49,198 girls appeared in the ISC exam, which is 52.38% and 47.62% respectively. In the ICSE examination, 137,503 boys and 121,218 girls appeared, representing 53.15% and 46.85% of the total candidates.Wider participation in schools highlights the scale of the examination process and the distribution of candidates across regions and institutions.Regional and subject-wise performance trendsRegional data shows strong performance across all zones. In the ISC examination, the South region had the highest pass percentage at 99.87 percent, followed by the Western region at 99.55 percent. In ICSE, the western region topped with 99.85 percent, followed by the southern region with 99.81 percent.The ISC exam consisted of 45 written subjects, including Indian, foreign and classical languages. The ICSE exam offers 67 subjects, reflecting a broad curriculum in language and academic subjects.Categorical results show consistent performance.Performance across social categories remained constant. In ISC, Scheduled Caste candidates secured 98.77% pass rate, while Scheduled Tribe candidates secured 98.84% pass rate. Other Backward Classes scored 99.12 percent and General Category candidates scored 99.17 percent.In ICSE, Scheduled Caste candidates recorded 98.76%, Scheduled Tribe candidates 98.07%, OBC candidates 99.24%, and General Category candidates 99.26%. The figures reflect similar results across categories.Performance of candidates with special needsCandidates with special needs also recorded remarkable results. In the ISC, 305 candidates with learning difficulties appeared, of which 36 scored above 90%. Out of 22 visually impaired candidates, 9 scored more than 90%.In ICSE, 1,313 candidates with learning difficulties appeared, of whom 132 scored above 90%. Out of 54 visually impaired candidates, 17 scored more than 90%. These figures reflect the participation and performance of diverse learner groups.Post-results process and supporting measuresCISCE has outlined a systematic post-consequences procedure. The recheck window will be open from May 1 to May 4, 2026. Revaluation and improvement exams will be held in June and July.The board also provided a 24×7 helpline to help the students during the examination period. Schools can access the detailed tabulation register and performance reports through the CAREERS portal.
