Akshay Kumar‘Bhooth Bangla’ has been slow and steady at the box office in terms of weekday collections. The horror comedy is in its second week in theaters and is slated to cross the 200 million mark worldwide at the box office soon. After a small increase on the second Tuesday, the following Wednesday saw a drop in numbers.
‘Bhooth Bangla’ Box Office Collection Day 13 (Second Wednesday)
The Priyadarshan the director collected 84.40 crores in the first week at the theatres. According to the Sacnilk report, on the 13th day there was a drop of 25.3% in its box office compared to the 12th day. It grossed Rs 3.25 crore from 8,823 shows in the country. With this, the total gross collection of the film in India reached 147.88 crores, and the net profit in India now stands at 124.50 crores.

Worldwide collection of ‘Bhooth Bangla’
Within four days of its theatrical release, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s collaboration project collected Rs 100 crore. Now, the film has added almost 100 crores more to its worldwide gross. On day 13, the film earned 0.75 crores in the overseas market, taking its total overseas gross to 51.50 crores. With this, the worldwide gross collection has reached 199.38 crores.The film just missed the 200 crore mark, which it will cross this weekend.
Box office competition
While Akshay’s film is leading the box office numbers, the horror comedy is also facing competition from Michael Jackson’s “Michael” and Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”, directed by Aditya Dhar.
