What stands out this year?
The top rank is shared by three students, each scoring 594 out of 600, or 99 percent. Rank 2 has an even larger cluster, with five students scoring 593 marks. This pattern continues in the merit list, showing how narrowly the top scores are separated.Mahasmand district has a strong presence in the higher ranks, with a number of students prominent in Rank 1 and Rank 2. Raipur and Mangali are also frequently seen in high positions.
Context of the overall result
Along with the list of toppers, CGBSE reported an overall pass percentage of 77.15. The pass percentage of girls was 81.03 percent while that of boys was 72.27 percent.Out of over 3.16 lakh students who appeared for the examination, over 2.43 lakh candidates passed, with a significant number securing first division.
What does the merit list say?
The clustering of the ranks shows that the differences between high-performing students are minimal. A difference of just one or two marks has pushed students up the ranks, especially between Rank 1 and Rank 3.For students, it reflects a highly competitive assessment period where small variations in scores determine final positions.
