The makers unveiled the film’s poster on Instagram, showing the title in Japanese. Sharing the update in a collaborative post, they wrote, “It’s time for Japan to experience the Dhurandhar energy! Coming to Japanese theaters on 7/10/2026.”

According to Sacnilk, the first installment of the spy action entertainer raked in a massive Rs. 1307.35 crore worldwide since its release on 5th December 2025. According to the makers’ statement, the film “recorded outstanding international performance, at no. 1 Hindi film of all time in North America, it has also become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in Canada and Australia, and ranks among the highest-grossing Indian films in the UK.“
‘Dhurandhar’ cast and plot details revealed
Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh BediGaurav Gera and Danish Pandor, Dhurandhar will be a two-part film. The first part revolved around an undercover anti-terrorist mission in which an undercover Indian intelligence officer infiltrates the criminal underworld and political system of Karachi, Pakistan, to dismantle a terror network targeting India.

Meanwhile, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” follows the journey of an Indian undercover intelligence agent who delves into Karachi’s criminal networks and political landscape, while seeking justice for the 26/11 attacks and facing dangerous threats. The story is loosely inspired by various real-life geopolitical tensions and conflicts in South Asia. He wrote, directed and produced the high-octane action thriller Aditya DharJyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar as producers.
