Jaafar Jackson starrer ‘Michael’ continued its theatrical run at the Indian box office on its first Monday.Michael Movie ReviewThe film which opened in theaters on Friday, April 24, has crossed the 20 crore mark at the box office, earning a good lifetime collection.According to a report on Sacnilk, the film collected around Rs 2.25 crore from 2,744 shows on Day 4, marking its first weekday performance after a strong opening weekend. Monday’s figures, however, were down 61.5% from Sunday’s 5.85 million net. This drop in collections is largely in line with the usual weekday trends after weekend ticket sales surged.Despite the drop, the film has managed to remain strong at the box office, with an estimated net collection in India of around 18.75 crores, while its gross collection is around 22.50 crores.“Michael” has maintained a commendable record at the box office despite facing competition from domestic titles such as Bollywood horror-comedy “Bhooth Bangla” and spy thriller “Dhurandhar 2”. On its second Monday (Day 11), ‘Bhooth Bangla’ earned Rs 3.65 crore (Rs 4.27 crore gross). Meanwhile, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has added Rs 1.0 crore (1.25 crore gross) in its sixth week (day 40).
