Mohanlal Starring the much awaited ‘Drishyam 3’ actor Jeethu Joseph will hit the big screens next month. As fans are eagerly waiting for the makers to start the promotional content, the makers have recently announced the teaser release date and time.

Mohanlal took to his erstwhile Twitter handle X to share that the film’s teaser will be released on April 29, which is Wednesday at 5 pm. Sharing a poster, they wrote, “Official teaser of Drishyam 3 coming this Wednesday 29th April at 5pm IST. Stay tuned. #Drishyam3 | Worldwide | 21st May 2026.”

Talking about the third installment, director Jeethu Joseph had earlier shared a small idea about the story. He hinted that after four and a half years, he will focus on the life of Georgekutty (the character played by Mohanlal). This means that the film will show what is happening in his life. Producer Antony Perumbavoor also shared his thoughts that after the response his previous two films received, he further explored Georgekutty’s journey.Mohanlal completed shooting for his work in December last year. A video of him cutting a cake with the band went viral online. He started the film before receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke award. The film was released with a puja near Kochi. The team shot the film in locations like Thodupuzha, Vagamon and Ernakulam. All these places give the story a natural feel. ‘Drishyam 3’ will hit the theaters on May 21, 2026. This day is special because it is Mohanlal’s 66th birthday. The film was scheduled to release on April 2, but was delayed due to the tense situation in the Gulf.
