More on the ‘Don 3’ case
For those who don’t know, the rift grabbed attention earlier this year when Ranveer Singh walked out of ‘Don 3’ after the success of ‘Dhurandhar’. Reports indicated disagreements over the script, project delays and concerns over production management. The producers reportedly demanded a refund of Rs 40 crore, citing losses due to pre-production investments, schedule changes and associated project cancellations.Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh’s team said he walked out because he was unhappy with the script, lack of a script tie-up and not receiving advance payments or compensation for time lost when other projects, including ‘Baiju Bawra’, were shelved. With the ‘Don 3’ lawsuit, the future of the franchise remains uncertain. While rumors linked Hrithik Roshan with the role, the actor has publicly denied being approached. Speculations are rife that Farhan Akhtar himself may return to the lead role or reboot the project entirely with a new A-lister.
