JK Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: J&K Bank has opened applications for 614 Apprentice posts under the Apprentice Act 1961, the process of which is ending today. The notification was released on 20 April 2026, and the candidates are allowed to submit the form through the official website within a limited application window.The objective of this recruitment drive is to recruit the best graduates to join the banking sector through an apprenticeship programme. Successful applicants will be provided with a 12-month training period in several areas. These regions include various districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and other states of India.Application period and application feeApplicants are invited to register online and apply from 20 April 2026 to 26 April 2026. The application fee for general candidates is Rs 700, while special category applicants need to pay Rs 500 online.Vacancies in respective areaThe total number of vacancies offered under this job profile is 614, out of which 461 vacancies are available in Jammu and Kashmir region. Another region that offers vacancies for 18 posts is Ladakh. Other regions include Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, and Mohali. The district-wise number of vacancies includes 75 posts each in Srinagar and Jammu, 35 posts in Baramulla and 30 posts each in Anantnag and Budgam districts.Criteria for eligibility and age limitApplicants must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university, obtained on or after 01 January 2022. They should also have an understanding of the local language of the area they are applying to join. The upper age limit has been fixed as 20 to 28 years as on January 01, 2026.Salary and training detailsRecruits will get a monthly allowance of Rs 13,500, of which Rs 9,000 will be provided by the bank, and Rs 4,500 by the government through direct benefit transfer. In addition, there will be a conveyance allowance of Rs 1,250.Selection criteria and application procedureSelection will be based on an online written test consisting of 100 questions of 100 marks each, with equal weightage to General Knowledge/English and Numerical Ability/Reasoning. The time allotted for each subject is 30 minutes. Wrong answers will carry negative marking at the rate of 0.25.Interested candidates should register themselves on the NATS Apprenticeship Portal, and then apply through the Bank’s official website.
