Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has started the process of checking for Class 10 and Class 12 Results 2026. Students are offered a final chance to challenge their marks, but they have a fixed deadline of May 17, 2026. Students who believe that their answer sheets have been miscalculated can apply through the official website. The Board has clarified that late or incomplete applications will be rejected without any concession.
Fixed fee, strict process
UPMSP has set a scrutiny fee of INR 500 per subject per answer sheet. Written and practical exams are treated separately, meaning students have to pay for each component individually if both are to be assessed. The payment process is strictly offline. Candidates have to deposit the fee through treasury challan in the government treasury. No online payment or alternative methods will be accepted. The verification process involves both online and offline phases, and missing either will result in rejection. Students must first fill the online application form using their roll number and center code. After that, they have to print the form, attach the original treasury challan, and send the complete set of documents by registered post to their respective regional office. The board has issued a blunt warning: Applications sent without online registration or received after May 17 will not be considered under any circumstances.
The results trigger a rush of scrutiny.
The scrutiny window is after the declaration of UP Board results on April 23. This year, more than 27.5 lakh students have registered for the Class 10 exams.According to Mahendra Dev, the pass percentage is 90.42% for class 10 and 80.38% for class 12. Despite the high pass rate, many students are dissatisfied with their scores, leading to increased demand for retests.
