Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet SethiAayushmaan Sethi’s young son recently fell victim to an alleged credit card scam in which he lost Rs 87,000. The incident came to light through a vlog shared by his elder brother Aaryamann Sethi on the channel Aary Vlogs. While the situation initially caused panic in the household, it soon turned into a lighthearted moment, with the family joking about Aayushmaan’s history with such mishaps β he had earlier lost Rs 80,000 in a similar scam.In the blog, a visibly worried Aayushmaan is seen saying, “My credit card has been charged for Rs 87,000.” Sitting next to him, Archana quickly reacted, “No news, cancel. Call the credit card company.” Explaining the situation, Aayushmaan said, “They took money for the whole year on the pretext of a seven-day free trial.” A surprised Archana repeated, “Rs 87,000?” Before you say “put away the credit card”.When Aaryamann burst out laughing, Parmeet stepped in to correct him, saying, “Don’t leave the card, cancel the payment.” Still confused and agitated, Aayushmaan asked, ‘Where do I look for that opportunity?’ leaving the entire family, including Archana and Parmeet, laughing. Adding to the joke, Aaryamann teased her, “You can’t take this money from mom and dad.” Archana said, “This is your money.” Trying to justify himself, Aayushmaan said, “I did this for my father!” As Parmeet laughed at the remark, Archana quickly pointed out, βHe will take that money from you. So what are you so happy about?βParmeet then added, “I’m not happy, I’m wondering how much he freaks out about this.” As Aayushmaan tries to contact his bank to resolve the issue, he runs into another hurdle when the numbers don’t pass, frustrated: “Really?”Aaryamann Sethi also brought up an earlier incident to highlight that this was not the first time his brother had been cheated. Recalling the moment, he said, “While we were shooting for my song ‘Choti Baatein’, Aayushmaan got a message saying he was debiting Rs 80,000 from his PlayStation account, which he never returned.”Clarifying what went wrong this time, Aayushmaan Sethi explained that the transaction took place without his consent. “Someone took money from my credit card without my permission. They had these seven day trial options, promising to charge after the seventh day. But they charged me for the whole year in one fell swoop…without asking for permission,β he said.Reacting to the situation, Parmeet Sethi said, “You are always in a hurry.” Aayushmaan, clearly annoyed, replied, “I was in no rush. And I was doing your job.” He added, “You guys aren’t dealing with this. I’m dealing with this. Nobody’s an expert here, I’ll handle it myself.” His declaration of confidence once again left the whole family torn apart.
