Sachin Tendulkar turned 53 this Friday, and the wishes of fans and celebrities have multiplied in all fields, including cinema. The Malayalam actor who has long admired Sachin once recalled that a chance flight with the batting icon became a memory he would cherish for life.

According to Cinema Express, Prithviraj shared the story at an event. The actor said he met Sachin Tendulkar on a flight journey and felt overwhelmed when the cricketer took a seat next to him.“When I boarded the plane, Sachin sat next to me as the last passenger. I am a die-hard fan of Sachin. When he sat next to me, I didn’t know what to say and felt clueless,” said Prithviraj.The actor added that another passenger sitting behind him asked for Sachin’s autograph on the cricketer’s autobiography. That moment helped Prithviraj start a conversation with his idol.“By the grace of God, when that passenger got his signature, Sachin turned to me and said, ‘This is my biography.’ I said, ‘I know sir. I read it early this morning,'” Prithviraj recalled.

The conversation did not end there. Prithviraj said Sachin spoke to him till the flight landed in Mumbai. The actor admitted that the moment stayed with him even though Sachin probably doesn’t remember it now.“Then Sachin Tendulkar talked to me till the flight landed in Mumbai. I am 100 per cent sure that Sachin may not remember our interaction, but I could not forget it for the rest of my life,” he said.Prithviraj met Sachin again while shooting for ‘Adam Joan’ in UK. She shared the moment on social media and wrote: “I believe in God because I’ve seen him.. many times!”Sachin also has a strong Kerala connection.
