New Delhi: A mega campus placement drive for the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be held this week at the university’s BR Ambedkar Convention Center located at the institution’s Maidan Garhi campus in New Delhi. More than 200 job opportunities will be available in this program starting from 10:00 am.The recruitment drive will involve companies from the ed-tech, aviation, hospitality, services and NGO sectors. According to the organizers, efforts will be made to provide IGNOU students and alumni access to recruiters offering jobs on various job profiles.Various companies that recruit roles.Some firms have also announced their participation in the event in which several vacancies are to be filled. For example, CollegeDekho.com has announced the recruitment of 50 academic counselors who will earn Rs 19,000 per month with performance incentives. This role will be based in Sector 66 of Gurugram.SarrthiIAS will hire 25 candidates for various posts like Sales Manager, Video Editor, Graphic Designer and Director of Photography. The pay scale will fall between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 3.84 lakh per annum, posting in Noida Sector 62.50-60 jobs available in Customer Service and Hosts with Birds Flight India Pvt. Limited. Selected applicants will get salary of Rs.3.6 lakh per annum at Delhi Airport. Those interested to work during night shift can apply.The services wing of CII-IGNOU will hire 50-60 people for the post of customer support and admission counselling. The monthly salary for the job will be 26,000 to 35,000 rupees. Sales and Marketing job openings are available with YS Hospitality, especially for candidates residing in Gurugram.The posts of Data Entry Operator and Chef Trainee are available with Gupteshwar Samiti, an NGO. As part of the earning while learning, the candidates joining here will be provided accommodation and food facilities during the training. They will also get a salary of Rs.15000.Eligibility and documentation required.The recruitment process is for final semester students, graduates, and even professionals. Candidates with any of the following degrees like BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, MCom and PG Diploma are eligible for the job. Some posts require candidates with 12th standard qualification only.Applicants must bring two copies of their CV, Government Photo ID or IGNOU I-card, Education and Experience Certificate along with passport size photographs.
