Nehha Pendse has opened up about a disturbing incident she experienced in Mumbai, calling it the “scariest second” of her life.In an interaction with Haterrfly, the actor recalled how it happened one morning when he went out for a run.
“He asked for directions… and suddenly he caught me”
Nehha shared that a car stopped near her and a man inside asked for directions. Since he couldn’t hear clearly, he moved closer.“Jaise hi main paas gayi, usne achanak mujhe pakad liya aur usse pehle ki main kuch samajh paati, woh gaadi lekar nikal gaya,” he said. (As soon as I got close, he suddenly grabbed me and before I understood anything, he drove away in the car.)
“I hit his car with my remote control”
Reacting immediately, Nehha remotely threw the car key at the vehicle.“Mere paas meri Cruze gaadi ki chaabi thi, uska bada block remote tha. Maine zor se de maara uski gaadi par, woh peeche ke screen par laga,” he recalled. (I had my car key with a heavy remote control. I kicked his car hard and it hit the back screen.)
“I froze… what if he went back?”
“Usne zor se brake maara… us waqt meri halat kharab ho gayi thi. Ek second ke liye woh ruk gaya… mujhe laga agar usne gaadi reverse le li toh main kya karti,” he added. (He slammed on his brakes… I was terrified. He stopped for a second and I kept thinking, what if he’d reversed the car? What would I have done?)According to Nehha, the man stopped for a short time, perhaps to check the damage, and then quickly left.
‘Woh ek second aaj tak nahi bhool paayi’
Calling it the scariest moment of her life, Nehha said, “Woh meri life ka sabse scary one second tha… jo main kabhi nahi bhool paungi.” (That was the scariest second of my life…something I’ll never forget.)
