New Delhi: India got off to a strong start to their Thomas Cup campaign by beating Canada 3-1 in their opening group match on Friday. But the momentum changed when the experienced doubles pair of Satvik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty stepped in. They dominated their match, winning comfortably and bringing India back into the competition with authority.From there, the young players ensured India stayed ahead. Ayush Shetty put in a confident performance to beat Brian Yang in straight games to give India the lead.
