According to a Mid-Day report, Deepika Padukone returned to the sets of ‘King’ on April 21, commencing a two-day shoot for an action sequence with Shah Rukh Khan at the Golden Tobacco Studio in Vile Parle. The report said, “Shah Rukh and Deepika shot the scene on April 21 and 22, with the latter dressed in white. A special set was built at Golden Tobacco Studio in Vile Parle. The fight choreography matches the larger-than-life treatment of the film.“

Director Siddharth Anand, known for his highly visual style of filmmaking, has designed a hyper-stylized fight sequence where the two superstars fight eight wrestlers together. More action-packed shooting days are said to be on the way. The report added, “Siddharth has planned another elaborate piece against a gritty backdrop. It will be shot at a Mira Road studio.”
