CEN 07/2024 Recruitment: The Ministry of Railways has issued a notification through Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) allowing candidates to update the details of subjects covered in their eligibility for posts under CEN no. 07/2024. The recruitment covers various ministerial and isolated categories, including trained graduate teacher posts in various categories.Candidates who had applied for these posts and attended the Computer Based Test (CBT) can now login to the official portal to verify and update their eligibility details. The objective of this initiative is to enable objective assessment of eligibility based on the subject-specific requirements specified in the recruitment notification.Update window and eligibility verification process.The update facility is available on the official website and candidates need to login using their credentials. The link has been activated from 23 April 2026 at 09:00 hrs and will be accessible till 29 April 2026 at 19:00 hrs. During this period, candidates must provide complete information about the subjects studied under their declared qualification.The RRBs said that if a candidate fails to provide the subject details, without further clarification, the eligibility will be determined solely on the basis of the already submitted application data. Recruitment scope and key timelinesThe recruitment under CEN No. 07/2024 includes 1036 posts in ministerial and isolated categories, including teaching and technical roles. The application process started on 07 January 2025 and ended on 28 February 2025. Fee payment was accepted till 01 March 2025, after which a correction window was issued from 03 March to 12 March 2025.Exam date is fixed as per the recruitment calendar, Admit cards will be issued before the exam. The application fee was fixed at Rs 500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Rs 250 for SC and ST candidates, with a partial refund after appearing in the Phase I examination.Advisory and help desk supportThe RRBs have clarified that the opportunity to update eligibility is a one-time arrangement, and further applications will not be entertained. Candidates are advised to rely only on official RRB websites for updates and avoid unauthorized sources.A help desk has been made available between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to assist the candidates. Officials reiterated that the recruitment process is fully computerized and merit-based, warning applicants against fraudulent claims or middlemen.
