In an interview with Masala in 2013, Ram Charan shared, “I think (Upasana) gets jealous when he sees the way I connect with my mother. As for the intimate scenes, I don’t think I should lie. Yes, he wasn’t comfortable at first. It’s understandable, he comes from a very different background, his scene was very tough, so Franko, his scene was very tough. I wasn’t sure he would understand, but to my surprise yes, he is very mature, and I love how he has blended into my family.“Upasana explained that it took time to understand the film industry. Little by little it helped him to learn the workings of cinema sets.

Ram Charan and Upasana got engaged in December 2011. In June 2012 they tied the knot in a big ceremony. Their relationship has grown stronger over the years.On the work front, Ram Charan is gearing up for ‘Peddi’ which is slated to release in June 2026.The actor recently showed his gratitude to the team behind Vaazha 2. He shared a photo with the team and wrote, “Had a great time catching up with the team of Vaazha 2. The film which became a huge hit in Malayalam is now coming to Telugu audiences.
