‘Hera Pheri 3’ remains one of the most awaited sequels in Bollywood, even though it is yet to go into production despite the much announced launch and trailer video shoot. Sameer Anjaan admits that he is not sure if the film will ever be made, while Akshay Kumar confirms that he is not going ahead now due to unresolved issues.

‘Hera Pheri 3’ continues to be one of the most awaited films among the audience. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama about “Hera Pheri 3”, Sameer admitted that he is not sure about the fate of the film, “I don’t know if it will be made or not. We don’t know what will happen. There is no clear picture. Also, there is no guarantee that I will write for it. I wrote for the first version of Bhool, but I didn’t write the third version for Bhulara. It is not in my hands if I get a film. If they offer it, then I’ll think about what to write.’

Akshay Kumar has confirmed the delay

In a chat with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay confirmed that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is not going ahead at the moment. He said, “Maybe something will work out… maybe we need to say some prayers. But right now, it’s not happening.” He also stated that the film will not start production anytime soon, at least not next year. Opening up about the hurdles delaying the project, Akshay added, “There are some things I can’t talk about on camera — agreements and other issues that keep delaying the project.”

Booth Bangla‘ update at the box office

Meanwhile, Akshay’s latest horror comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has been doing well at the box office. According to reports, the film has collected over Rs. 78 crore in India in its first six days. Its worldwide gross collection is Rs. 127 million.
