Prayagraj: The UP Board Class X Examination 2026 has once again highlighted the exceptional academic performance of students across the state, with the toppers’ list showing near-perfect scores and dominance by students from several districts including Sitapur, Barabanki, Jhansi and others.The overall merit list is jointly led by Kesh Verma from Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College, Sitapur and Anshika Verma from The Modern Academy Inter College, Barabanki, both securing an impressive 97.83% marks (587/600) and sharing the top rank. The second position in the merit list is bagged by Aditi from The Modern Academy Inter College, Barabanki, who secured 97.50% (585/600 marks), further strengthening the district’s presence in the top ranking.The third spot saw a three-way tie with Arpita from Sitapur, Rishabh Sahu from Lord Krishna Public High School, Jhansi, and Pari Verma from Barabanki, each scoring 97.33% (584/600 marks). Several students at the very bottom of the top three bracket also performed exceptionally well, with marks between 97.17% and 96.50%, with stiff competition among the top achievers.Similarly, in the board’s class 12th results, Shikha Verma from Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College, Sheikhpur Bilawli Bazar, Sitapur has topped the class 12th UP board merit list with 488/500 marks with 97.60%.Nandini Gupta from Sarvodaya Jan Kalyan Inter College, Khera, Bareilly secured 97.20% and secured second position with 486/500 marks. Shreya Verma from Maharani Lakshmibai Memorial Inter College, Barabanki has also secured 486/500 marks (97.20%) and stands second.Surabhi Yadav from Sarvodia Jan Kalyan Inter College, Khera, Bareilly has secured the third position with 485/500 marks with 97.00%.Poojapal of Maharani Lakshmibai Memorial Inter College, Barabanki also secured 485/500 marks (97.00%) and secured third position.Anushka Yadav of Prakash Vidya Mandir Inter College, Mehmoodabad, Sitapur has secured the fifth position with 483/500 marks scoring 96.60%.
