The incident took place on the Gujarat Mail traveling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.

Darshan Jariwala realized that he had left his wallet after boarding the train on April 21, 2026. Help was immediately put on the phone to report the loss. The veteran actor shared the experience in a video on social media, saying, “Today on April 21, very early in the morning, while traveling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, I forgot my bag in the train. I forgot my wallet on the train.’After lodging the complaint, the railway team assured him that his problem was registered and would be resolved soon, a promise they fulfilled almost immediately.“Within minutes, I got a call from ASI Arun Singh. He told me that he had found my wallet, which contained very valuable documents and money,” Darshan revealed.He went on to praise the force, saying, “It is very important for us to understand that our Railway Protection Police is very efficient and effective. I would once again like to thank ASI Arun Singh.”The actor also highlighted the usefulness of the 139 Railway inquiry line, encouraging passengers to use the same number to report lost and found items.
