Prosecutors allege that D4vd killed the girl because she threatened to report a sexual relationship they had started when she was 13 and feared it would ruin her rising career.D4vd, a 21-year-old alt-pop singer who goes by the name David Burke, was charged with murder on Monday. He pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, lewd and lascivious acts and mutilation of a deceased person with a person under 14 years of age. Burke’s attorneys said he did not cause Rivas Hernandez’s death and will vigorously defend his innocence.
