New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer and coach Sanjay Bangar has supported Ishan Kishan will continue as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad even after his expected return. “Ishan Kishan as a leader is very strategic in terms of how he uses his bowlers. He understands which bowlers to use against which batsman. This is a clear sign of how well he controls the game. He’s not looking clustered, not rushed, and making the right calls on the field,” Bangar said on Star Sports.

‘Consistency is key for SRH’Bangar pointed to Kishan’s on-field decisions, particularly his handling of the spinners in the win over Delhi Capitals, as evidence of his growing leadership maturity.“The way he used his spinners against DC was impressive. Overall, I believe Ishan should continue to captain SRH even if Pete Cummins comes back. More than anything, being the Indian captain comes with consistency. You can’t be sure how fit a bowler of Pete Cummins’ caliber will be the rest of the time.
