Sonu Nigam has just shared touching memories of the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle. He recalled fixing his painful heel spur during the 1996 US tour. His post came after Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was 92 years old.

The heel spur incident

NDTV reported that during the tour, Asha Bhosle experienced discomfort due to a heel spur. Sonu Nigam was well aware of the problem since his own mother also experienced it. He offered to help with a simple hand treatment. “At the time, she had a spur on her heel. My mother had it too, so I knew how to deal with it with my hands. She couldn’t stand well. I told her she knows how to fix it. After a few demonstrations, I went to her room and massaged her feet and she got better.The massage quickly brought him relief. He could work more comfortably later.

Asha Bhosle’s lasting memory

Asha Bhosle remembered the kind act many times even years later. He would bring it up in his conversations with Sonu Nigam.“He kept asking me: ‘Do you remember, you massaged my feet there?’ And I would say yes, because I saw my mother go through the same thing.
