Sharing his experience, he said, “Honestly, I didn’t know about it… I spoke to Mr. Rahman about it… He was totally fine.” He further added that when he saw the opening poster of the film bearing Rahman’s name, he got confused and tried to understand what had happened. “I asked why… what happened… but I didn’t get a clear answer,” he said. Despite the confusion, Sai chose to move forward with respect and responsibility after the team confirmed the decision.

The composer explained that when the makers and Suriya entrusted him with the project, he felt it was his duty. “If the production, Suriya sir and Balaji sir want me to do it, it is my duty to do it,” he said. ‘Karuppu’ is expected to be a country action entertainer with Suriya playing a powerful role.
