Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has started the online registration process today for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Electrical) posts on 20 April 2026. A total of 622 vacancies have been announced under advertisement no. CRA 316/26.Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of PSPCL.

The registration process has started today from 20 April 2026. Last date for submission of online application form is 10th May 2026 while last date for payment of application fee is 15th May 2026.Candidates are advised not to wait till the last date to apply, as applications will not be accepted without payment of fee.
Vacancy details
This recruitment drive will fill 622 posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in PSPCL.These vacancies are divided into various categories, including General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Schedule Cast (SC), Backward Section (BC), Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and others.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualificationCandidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
- Full Time Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks, p
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical) with minimum 50% marks, OR
- Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks
- Apart from this, candidates must have passed Punjabi at least at Matriculation (Class 10th) level.
Age Limit
- Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 37 years as on 1st January 2026. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per rules of Punjab Government.
Application fee
- ₹1200 for all candidates except Schedule Cast (SC) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
- ₹750 for SC and PWD candidates
- Additional GST and bank charges will apply.
- Fees should be paid online only. Applications without payment will be rejected.
Selection process
Selection will be made on the basis of online computer based test. The exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions including:
- Technical Subject (Electrical)
- Punjabi language
- General knowledge
- Reasoning
- Common English
Each correct answer will carry one mark, and each wrong answer will carry minus 0.25 marks.
Scale of pay
Selected candidates will get minimum basic pay of ₹35,400 per month as per 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC).Read the detailed notification Here
