Riteish Deshmukh, who directs the film, has shared the first trailer of the historical drama on social media. His son will portray a younger version of Shivaji. The action-packed promo features Abhishek, Sanjay, Vidya and Riteish’s wife Genelia, who appears as Saibai, Chhatrapati Shivaji’s wife. ‘Raja Shivaji’ traces the life of the Maratha warrior, with Abhishek essaying the role of his elder brother.

Recently, Riteish along with Genelia Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan appeared in the grand finale of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6 on April 19 to promote ‘Raja Shivaji’. While hosting the show, Riteish confirmed that Salman Khan has a cameo in the film but chose not to divulge details about his character. He only stated that Khan plays a pivotal role. According to reports, the actress can be seen as Jiva Mahala.
