SSCGD Constable 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released today the City Intimation Slip of Exam for Constable (GD) Recruitment Exam 2026 on 19th April 2026. Candidates who have registered for Constable (General Duty) Vacancies in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) (NCB) can now check their allotted exam city online.This information is made available on the official website of SSC. Candidates need to login using their registration details to view their exam city.

What is City Intimation Slip of Exam?

The examination city slip informs the candidates where their examination center will be located (city only). It does not contain complete details or exact address of the examination center. It is issued in advance so that candidates can plan their travel and accommodation arrangements.

How to Check SSCGD Exam City 2026

Follow the below steps to download it.

  1. Visit SSC official website: https://ssc.gov.in
  2. Click on the Login section.
  3. Enter your registration number and password.
  4. Check and download your exam city details.

Admit card release next

SSC has clarified that the admission certificate (admit card) will be issued 2-3 days before the exam date. This document will contain complete details like the exact address of the examination center, and reporting time.

Important instructions

Candidates should carry the admit card to the examination centre.

SSCGD 2026 Exam Schedule

As per earlier notification, SSCGD exam will be conducted across the country in multiple phases from 27th April to 30th May 2026.The exam will be held in four windows:

  • 27 April to 2 May 2026
  • From 4 May to 9 May 2026
  • From 18 May to 23 May 2026
  • From 25 May to 30 May 2026

A priority system is already in place.

This year, SSC introduced a preference-based schedule, allowing candidates to choose their preferred exam week while applying. The aim is to streamline the process and reduce congestion at the centres.Candidates are now advised to:

  • Check their exam city as soon as possible.
  • Plan the trip in advance
  • Keep login details ready for admit card download
