The pop sensation who stole the show on Coachella’s opening weekend is back for an even bigger moment. Sabrina Carpenter is back. The pop artist will return to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 17, 2026, kicking off the event’s second weekend. Carpenter previously described his festival set as his most ambitious production to date. After the weekend’s first screening, she expressed her gratitude to those who took part, sharing on social media, “what a celebration of beautiful, amazing and wonderful people I’ve made this a celebration of.”

According to Variety , Carpenter’s first weekend performance set the bar incredibly high. He transformed the Coachella Stage into what is now known as “Sabrinawood,” performing 20 songs and featuring surprise appearances by Will Ferrell, Samuel L. Jackson and Susan Sarandon. Sarandon took part in a seven-minute monologue portraying an older version of the singer, a segment social media users described as iconic.

Carpenter headlines Friday night, but the weekend is packed with big names over the course of three days. Justin Bieber will close the Coachella stage on Saturday, April 18 at 11:25pm PT, his first time headlining the festival and a significant return after health issues forced him to cancel his 2022 tour.
