Meghan Markle is choosing her accessories with a deeper message. During her visit to Australia, the former ‘Suits’ actress was spotted wearing constellation-shaped diamond rings instead of her engagement ring. In the sweetest sense, the rings she wore were a fitting tribute to her husband, Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle’s rings are well chosen
According to Town and Country magazine, Meghan and Harry attended various events at Australia’s Swinburne University of Technology. While she changed her outfits for each event, two pieces of her jewelry remained the same: a Virgo diamond constellation ring and a Leo diamond constellation ring. Meghan, whose birthday is in August, is a Leo, while Harry’s mid-September birthday makes him a Virgo. This led him to believe that the rings were a subtle nod to the Prince.
Meghan also carried other significant pieces
Meghan’s zodiac rings weren’t the only accessory making headlines during her four-day tour of Australia. In several appearances, she wore the Lavalier Opal Hero Earrings, a pair of special significance to her journey. In 2018, the Duchess of Sussex wore the same drop pearl earrings as she and Prince Harry embarked on a 16-day official royal tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Meghan Markle’s personal touch to her jewellery
In a video posted for her birthday in August 2021, Meghan was seen wearing two gold necklaces. One necklace represented the constellation Taurus, a nod to the zodiac sign of her son Prince Archie, and the other represented the constellation Gemini for her daughter Princess Lilibet.
