Singer D4vd has been arrested on suspicion of killing a 14-year-old girl whose decomposed body was found last year in an apparently abandoned Tesla that was towed through the Hollywood Hills, police said Thursday.The Hollywood Reporter reports that the Los Angeles Police Department shared in a statement, “The Homicide Division has arrested 21-year-old Los Angeles resident David Burke for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is out on bond. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for review.” News of D4vd’s arrest comes more than seven months after police found the 14-year-old’s decomposing body in his car. NCB reports that Celeste’s body was found in the trunk of the singer’s abandoned car on September 8, 2025. The car was impounded at Hollywood Tow. The officers were called to sleep because of a foul odor coming from the vehicle. The singer was indicted by an LA County grand jury looking into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The probe was officially secret, but its existence – and the naming of D4vd as a target – came to light on February 25 when his mother, father and brother contested subpoenas in a Texas court.
