The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today declared the 10th class results on April 15, 2026. Along with the results, the board has also shared region-wise pass percentage data.The overall pass percentage this year is 93.70% which is slightly higher than last year’s 93.66%.But the most interesting part is the performance in different areas.
High performing areas
According to official data, Trivandrum and Vijayawada have jointly bagged the first position, both with an impressive 99.79 percent pass percentage.Chennai and Bangalore also performed very well and are among the top regions.
CBSE Class 10, 2026: Region Wise Pass Percentage
Here is a look at the performance of each region in the CBSE Class 10 Results 2026.
- Southern regions clearly dominated the list this year.
- Trivandrum and Vijayawada topped the charts with near-perfect results.
- Chennai and Bangalore also continued their trend of strong performance.
- Delhi regions fared well, both crossing 97 percent.
- Guwahati recorded the lowest pass percentage among all regions.

- Delhi East: 97.33%
- Delhi West: 97.45%
- Delhi as a whole: 97.38%
CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 shows a steady and slightly better overall performance. By region the data clearly shows strong performance from the southern regions, while some regions still have room for improvement.Overall, the results show similar performance across the country with only small differences between regions.
