Sonali recalled how she was specifically asked to help Ranveer feel comfortable on set as he was new to such glamorous shoots. As he had already done the daring tasks himself, he was the more comfortable of the two. Reflecting on that phase, she said in an interview with Filmi Beat, “I know Ranveer very differently. It wasn’t like (mimics) ‘Yes’, full of energy, no. She was actually very shy because it was a bikini shoot again.”She further described the atmosphere on set, adding: “She was very bold. She was glamorous. She said, ‘This is my first shoot like this, very glamorous and with a girl in a bikini.’ Yes, he was very careful. She was chewing gum, she was wearing perfume… I got cold, and the photographer was also saying, ‘Sonali, don’t make her conscious because you’re fine, but she’s a bit nervous. Please make yourself comfortable.‘”Sonali also expressed how different Ranveer’s personality was then compared to his glamorous public image today. Recalling a moment from the shoot, he said, “You know, Sonali, it’s my first shoot.
