John Krasinski Announces ‘A Quiet Place III’
In his post, director Krasinski revealed that he will be joining returning cast members Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O’Brian. Emily Blunt, Cillian MurphyMillicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe in the third installment of the popular franchise. “So proud to be a part of this A Quiet Place family…old and new! Here we go!” captioned the post. The announcement was made with the song ‘One Last Time’ from the musical Hamilton. This said that the third part could be the final installment of the sci-fi franchise.

The news of O’Connell’s casting comes after an epic career in the horror genre. He recently made waves for his performance as a vampire in ‘Sinners’. He also played a leading role in the series ’28 Years Later’. Meanwhile, O’Brian, who is new to acting, is known for his work in Kristen Stewart’s ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ and his work in ‘Twisters’, ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ and ‘The Running Man’.
‘A Quiet Place’ box office performance
According to Variety’s report, production on the film is expected to begin this spring, with Krasinski directing from his script. ‘A Quiet Place’ was a box office hit in 2018, and marked the beginning of a string of films starring Blunt, Simmonds and Jupe. Djimon Hounsou and Cillian Murphy Join ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ Sequel. The horror universe expanded with the 2024 prequel ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. To date, the films have grossed $900 million at the worldwide box office.
