15 years have passed since thenGame of Thrones‘ officially premiered on television, and to mark the special day, the makers released a special trailer to celebrate the legacy of the fantasy franchise. Although the series premiered on April 17, 2011, the creators released a trailer on Wednesday celebrating the world of Westeros, which became a global phenomenon. The newly released trailer mixes iconic moments from the original show with footage from spin-offs including ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’. “When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die,” says Cersei Lannister in the opening lines of the trailer, as the video relives some of the show’s iconic moments, including the Battle of the Bastards and the Red Wedding, before giving glimpses of the new seasons.
